 Pick up your Cross???? , “If anyone would come after me, let him cdeny himself and dtake up his cross and follow me "Mark 8:34" Have we as believers done this? Was Jesus saying accept Me and have all you ever wanted? To some extent HE was but in "eternity" sense. Christ was saying "deny self" What would that detail? Living the Gospel whole heartedly... Todays Modern Gospel doesn't explain this to those who feel they have "accepted" Christ. Have you picked up your Cross in absolute denial of self? Clinging on to the desperation, in knowledge that Christ has saved you from the fall?  Law and Grace.....What's it all about? What is one of our greatest calling as Christians? Would you call yourself a believer? If you know tomorrow that when you pass away you would enter into eternity, how could you not tell anyone that?????? Fear??? So would you go watch them be eternally separated from God? Because you were fearful of sharing the Gospel ( good news ) with them? Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice on the cross and told us to go share the good news with everyone! ( every creature) Mark 16:15, Matt 28:19, Rom 10:14. Let's look how Jesus witnessed. Christ always opened with the Law then to Grace. He showed how one has sinned then the grace they would have. |
